  • Waux-Hall is 5 hectares of landscaped parkland, punctuated by outdoor sculptures (19th to 20th century) which give it a unique romanticism. The park has been the property of the City of Mons since 1892, and offers many leisure possibilities: Boating, health walks, playgrounds, tennis courts... The park also has a cafeteria that is open to all visitors.
Designed by the landscape artist Louis Fuchs, Waux-Hall Park (1862-1864) is home to a remarkable collection of plants and beds of 100-year-old trees, water features as well as lawns where 100,000 bulbs bloom in spring time to give an enchanting spectacle.
In brief, a space for leisure, relaxation, and nature for all the family, the Waux-Hall site is broadly open to everyone.
