Following the reopening of the museums on December 5, 2020, visits to the Treasury of Collegiate Sainte-Waudru are limited to 2 people / h with a visit time of 45 minutes Mons Card Partner: Free access Housed in the church’s former chapterhouse, the “trésor” is one of the most beautiful collections of religious gold in Belgium. These treasures are a fantastic collection of pieces from the period between the 7th and the 20th century, including a fascinating collection of religious gold (chalices, ciboriums, monstrances and reliquaries), dating from the 7th to the 20th centuries. There are also souvenirs from the Chapitre, statues including some alabaster masterpieces by Jacques Du Broeucq – the greatest “Renaissance” artist north of the Loire – paintings, ancient manuscripts and a collection of shrouds used to wrap the bones of the Saint, including one Byzantine shroud found in the chasse in 1997 and dated between the end of the 7th and the end of the 8th century. Information: groupes@ville.mons.be Open daily - except on Monday- from 12.00 to 18.00.
