Guided tour: Sainte Waudru Collegiate

Built from 1450 to 1621, the collegiate was a private church of the canonesses which may be explored from various angles. Work continued on what should have been the tower until 1686/1687. Among other things, you have the 16th century canopies, the remarkable alabaster works by Jacques Du Broeucq (1505–1584), the reliquaries of Sainte Waudru (1867 and 1887), the tombstones, the Golden Cart (1780/1781) and the organs (18th century case).
