Guided Tour: Art in the City

In the context of the “L’Art habite la Ville” (Art in the City) project, visitMons is collaborating with the Fondation Mons 2025 to organise guided tours combining heritage and urban works of art. A true reflection of the Metamorphoses track put together in 2015, a year in which Mons proudly carried the title of European Capital of Culture, and in line with the work begun by the Biennale with Niki de Saint Phalle, around 20 works of art will appeared throughout the city, pushing back the walls of classical cultural institutions. Visitors are thus able to reclaim the transformed public space in the company of a guide who will stroll with them among a selection of chosen works. Mons, the cultural capital of Wallonia, is more than ever a city to discover or rediscover!
