Over in the Czech Republic (as here), culture is ‘heady’ stuff.
Pilsen, known for its famous beer, is about to gain fame for its cultural wealth too, by becoming European Capital of Culture in 2015 along with Mons. A week before Mons, Pilsen will thus get the ball rolling with an opening weekend of concerts, giant video mapping and festive parades presenting the great and good of the city.
It will all take place to the sound of the new bells of St Bartholomew’s Cathedral, the casting of...Over in the Czech Republic (as here), culture is ‘heady’ stuff.
