IAM, which hales from Marseille, has hammered out an instantly recognisable brand of protest rap since the 80s. After a long absence followed by a revival, Akhenaten and IAM are back with a new album and a ‘strategic’ tour which takes in Mons at the invitation of l’Envol des cités.
