Historic site and monument ,  Heritage buildings at Mons
  • The Grand-Place is the true heart of the historic city. Each year it is the theatre of the Combat dit Lumeçon, the legendary combat of Saint-Georges against the dragon. It is an exceptional panorama of architecture from the 15th century to today.

    Good to know
The façade of the building called “Le Blan Levrie” is an example of the care with which the city has been able to marry the old and the new. Today it houses a bank branch but especially there is the remains of the old outer wall which, once inside, will hold your attention.
